P. Eells Park awards include top 3 in each class & best of show, all proceeds benefit the park--The park will also be hosting a vendor show and children's activities on May 24th. Weekend camping will also be available starting Friday the 23rd, setup is from 5-8. Cost is $30 primitive or $60 electric for the weekend.

ZONTA LANDINGS BOAT RENTALS OPEN MAY 24 THROUGH LABOR DAY Zonta Landing is a public boat livery concession that provides rentals of canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats at Riverside Park. Rentals are taken first come, first served. Canoes and kayaks may also be taken, by the renter, to other bodies of water within Hancock County with an advanced reservation through the HPD office. Equipment rates for canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats are $5 per ½ hour. The rental fee for an entire day is $25. Group outings with 6 or more watercrafts are discounted at the rate of $20 per day. All rates include life jackets, paddles, and sales tax. HPD boat livery operation is open from 1-7pm, weekends and holidays, beginning Saturday, May 24 through Monday, September 1 during good weather conditions. Last launch time for 1 hour rentals is 6pm and last launch time for ½ hour rentals is 6:30pm. Contact the HPD office for special arrangements on watercraft rentals. Periods of high water or hazardous weather could close the concession at the discretion of the HPD staff. H.P. EElls Park, Bettsville will host a Car Show on May 25, 2014 from 1-4. Registration for Cars, Motorcycles, Trucks will be from 11-1 or via email at aprilhull@frontier.com or by calling Dave at 419-345-2556. Cost is $8 Pre-Register or $10 at gate. 100 Dash Plaques will be given away, 50/50 drawings, door prizes and much more. Camping is available this weekend.
