FITNESS CENTER APPRECIATION DAY, FINDLAY

The Hancock County Agency on Aging will be hosting a Fitness Center Member Appreciation Day on Wednesday, September 3rd from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The Senior Center is located at 339 East Melrose Avenue at the corner of North Blanchard and Melrose. ART IN THE PARK, HPD, FINDLAY

Art in the Park: Plein Air Artists\r\n If you love to paint or draw outdoors, the Plein Air Artists group is just for you! This program is part of the Hancock Park District Adult Nature Education Program and is open to all adult and teen artists, from professional to interested and enthusiastic amateurs, who use any medium conducive to working outdoors. Meet out at the Hancock Park District Office, in the front parking lot, on Wednesday, September 3 from 6-8pm. Plan to bring your own art supplies and equipment needed and dress for ground and weather conditions. The coordinator will be available each session to answer questions. There is no fee and registration is not necessary. INSIDE STATE MENTAL HOSPITALS, BOWLING GREEN

The Wood County Historical Museum is pleased to host a nationally-recognized photography exhibit by Christopher Payne called Asylum: "Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals". The exhibit and companion book will be in the new gallery space at the Wood County Historical Museum May 31 - November 16, 2014. An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 30, from 6-8pm, with Payne's remarks and book signing. This event is free and open to the public.

Fundraiser for Humane Society of Seneca Co. Craft/vendor show, photos with your pets, Pet parade/contest, raffles, Lots more come on out and check us out, fun for everyone. (Farmers Market the same day and Jazz Fest in afternoon)
