Eric Bowers and Angela Patuto will have a grand opening for an October exhibit of their work. Eric has been involved in tie dying work selling his renderings on tee shirts, infant onesies, dresses, skirts, bandanas, and banners. He is known locally through music festivals and internationally on the internet. Angela works with oils, acrylics, watercolors, and ink. Her works re grouped in themes such as vanishing horizons, onion sets, vacation scenes, Seneca County park views, and abstracts. The Grand Opening will be held on Saturday, October 4 from 4 to 7 pm at the Tiffin Art Guild & Gallery, 178 S Washington St, Tiffin. Refreshments will be served. The public is invited to attend. The Exhibit will continue through the month of October during regular Gallery hours of Noon to 4 pm Tuesday through Saturday.

The Wood County Historical Museum is pleased to host a nationally-recognized photography exhibit by Christopher Payne called Asylum: "Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals". The exhibit and companion book will be in the new gallery space at the Wood County Historical Museum May 31 - November 16, 2014. An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 30, from 6-8pm, with Payne's remarks and book signing. This event is free and open to the public.
