The Seneca County General Health District will be sponsoring a Senior Health Check on Monday, December 14th, 2015 at the Fostoria Senior Center from 9:30-11:30am for anyone age 60 and over. For more information call 419-447-3691.

Where do the animals go in winter? HPD, FINDLAY

A discovery story about the lives of animals in winter will be held at Oakwoods Nature Preserve’s Richard S. “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center on Monday, December 14 at 10 AM and 1 PM. Children will discover how animals survive winter, hear a story, and make a craft inspired by their favorite native animal. This free program is recommended for children ages 3 to 6 with an adult companion. Other aged siblings are welcome to attend. Registration is not required. Oakwoods Nature Preserve’s Richard S. “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center is located at 1400 Oakwoods Lane, off CR 144, west of Findlay. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883 (enter through glass doors on Riverside Dr.) The Ritz Players will hold open auditions for the drama Wit on December 13 and 14 at 6:00 PM in the National Theatre at The Ritz. Performance dates are February 12-23. Main character roles include three females and three males (ages 30ish, 50ish and 80ish).
