  All Day Tickets Available For McComb Lion's Club Dinner   The McComb Lions Club will be holding a Chicken/Pork BBQ dinner on Friday August 30, 2013 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM prior to the McComb vs. Tiffin Calvert Boys football game. It will be held at the McComb School Cafeteria and you may dine in or carry-out. The meal will feature a half chicken or pork chop, vegetable, roll, dessert and drink. Cost of the meal will be $8.00. Tickets are presale only and may be purchased through Friday, August 23rd. Tickets are available from any McComb Lions Member and at Primrose Flowers or Hoverman Insurance in McComb. You may also call 419-293-2350 to purchase tickets. All proceeds from the meal will be used to fund the McComb Lions 2014 Senior Scholarship.

  9:30AM 4:30PM SMITHSONIAN TRAVELING JOURNEY STORIES, BG   The Wood County Historical Center is pleased to host the Smithsonian traveling exhibit "Journey Stories", August 10th through September 15th at the Wood County Historical Museum, 13660 County Home Road in Bowling Green. The Museum is open Tuesday-Friday, 9:30am - 4:30pm and weekends 1-4pm with extended hours during special events.
 
  8:30AM 12:30PM NO CHILD LEFT INDOORS, HPD, Findlay, OH   Join Hancock Park District, Pheasants Forever, Whitetails Unlimited and Quail Forever for a morning filled with outdoor adventure skills especially for youth. NO CHILD LEFT INDOORS is part of a national movement to reach a generation of young people fixated on electronics and get them outdoors. This free event includes fishing, archery, canoeing/kayaking, BB gun shooting, tree stand safety and more.
